Those of you who know me also know that I believe in Miracles and that I had a fair share of them feeding the homeless people and still now with providing the weekend backpacks for the school children. It always amazes me where these Miracles come from and they always are answers to your and my prayers. :)
Recently I had another such Miracle and I would like to share the story with you. Maria J. was a customer of mine some years ago on my business website and somehow we became Facebook friends after that. She has been reading both my homeless blog and my Munchkin blog and has helped out with a donation before.
A few weeks ago I received a message from Maria saying that she is reducing things in her home and life and that she had a bunch of jewelry that she would like to donate and if I would like to have it. I thought it was a great idea and that I could sell it and then add the money to the food fund. It also would help with making Christmas for the Munchkins again this year. :)
Maria sent so much jewelry and other items that I can use as Christmas gifts for the kids this year, that when I opened the box a whole lot of Love came out of that package and I felt it strongly. :) She had polished everything up to new and also added brand-new earwires to all the earrings too. It was quite a lot of some really beautiful jewelry. :)
She also sent two beautiful Indian dolls, which I have assigned to two sisters in the backpack program for Christmas already. :) I hope I can see their little faces when they see the dolls. :)
There is some Native American jewelry, like rings, earrings, a watch band, and necklaces. And contemporary jewelry in all different price ranges too. There are also some beaded necklace (medicine) bags and a colorful beaded choker, which could be used as a band around a hat. Every penny of this will go into the "Food Blessings in a Backpack" fund for the Munchkins. :)
